An Editorial Wedding Shoot at Château de la Brûlaire
This editorial wedding shoot was born from a simple intention: to create a sensitive, immersive moment where art direction, floral design, and materials meet in an exceptional setting.
Located in the Loire Valley, Château de la Brûlaire quickly felt like the perfect backdrop. Recently renovated to host high-end weddings, the venue offers generous volumes and beautiful natural light pouring through large windows. An ideal playground to imagine a floral and artistic scenography, balancing elegance and minimalism.
A Collaboration of Local Talents
This editorial is also the result of meaningful encounters. A collective of local creatives brought together by a shared sensibility: creating with intention, without excess, leaving space for authenticity.
More than just a wedding inspiration shoot, the goal was to build a true creative dynamic. Each contributor brought their own perspective, gesture, and material, shaping a cohesive and living composition. An approach that reflects the way I design each project — as a bespoke creation, where every detail holds meaning.
Art Direction Between Art and Material
Designed for an art-sensitive couple — she a curator, he an architect — this shoot envisions the wedding as a living artwork.
Here, floral design becomes almost architectural. The botanical elements expand into the space, interacting with the venue’s volumes, while materials — paper, painted textiles — enrich the composition.
Light plays a central role: it reveals textures, draws lines, and enhances movement. Each scene is conceived as a living tableau, where nothing feels static.
In this approach, the wedding becomes an ephemeral installation. An immersive creation where the couple is not just present, but fully part of the artwork, inhabiting and extending the scenography.
An Eco-Conscious Floral Approach
As with all my work, the floral design follows an eco-conscious philosophy. Seasonal flowers, natural mechanics, and a foam-free approach allow for an aesthetic that is both свобод, organic, and responsible.
This vision of wedding floristry prioritizes gesture, composition, and sustainability, without ever compromising emotion.
